My name is Casey Hourigan, and I am from Laredo, Texas, a border town. I am a fourth-year student at the University of the Incarnate Word Feik School of Pharmacy. My pharmacy interests are community pharmacy, specifically independent pharmacy. I chose to be part of the West Texas Pharmacy Association due to its mission to give back to the community. Hence, my long-term goal is to earn my Doctor of Pharmacy degree and obtain my preceptor license to teach future pharmacists and open my independent pharmacy.
