After graduating from Whitharral High School in a class of nine students, Kimberly attended college at Texas Tech University to study biochemistry. Like lots of college students, she wasn’t sure what she wanted to do but she needed a job and got one as a pharmacy technician. The balance of science and service really appealed to Kimberly and led her to apply to pharmacy school. She attended the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy from 2018 to 2022. During her first year, Kimberly was invited to attend the WTPA convention and she fell in love with our warm community. After graduating, Kimberly worked at Market Street Pharmacy in Lubbock, Texas for 18 months. She is now a clinical pharmacist at the Joe Arrington Cancer Center with Covenant in Lubbock. She still finds that balance of science and service, and it’s what keeps her passion for pharmacy strong.
In her spare time, Kimberly has found a love of running and baking, which pair nicely. She and her husband like going camping and hiking when there’s time, but most of all enjoy spending time with family, friends, and their dog Briggs.
