Nathan is from Rochester, a small town in West Texas, and earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree from the Texas Tech Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy in 2009. He also serves as a preceptor for fourth-year pharmacy students from Texas Tech's Abilene campus. Pharmacy has been a true calling for Nathan - he loves serving his patients and making a difference in their lives. One person who had an undeniable impact on his career and interest in pursuing pharmacy is Doyle High. Having the opportunity to learn from him and witness his incredible passion for the profession gave Nathan (and countless other students) the inspiration he needed.
Nathan was a WTPA scholarship recipient while in pharmacy school and has enjoyed giving back to the organization and being able to help pharmacy students and those considering pharmacy school be successful in their future careers. He joined the WTPA board in 2012 and is currently serving as co-secretary. He currently works at Doyle High's The Drug Store in Haskell, an independent community pharmacy still retaining the name of its namesake and original owner, Doyle High, who still serves as an honorary board member with WTPA.
